Conference attendees can expect 3 days of presentations featuring Elder Justice Experts from Tennessee and across the nation, and ample professional networking and partner education opportunities.
Tuesday, May 3rd, opens with a Pre-Conference ETHICS Intensive for Tennessee Attorneys, and ends with a Tennessee tradition - the Backyard BBQ, a family-friendly event featuring a LIVE AUCTION benefitting the TN Elder Justice Initiative and Conference. Participating agencies and organizations: Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions, Tennessee Bankers Association, Tennessee Credit Union League, Tennessee District Attorneys, and more! Tennessee Adult Protective Services, National Adult Protective Services Association and others to be announced.
Wednesday, May 4, conference schedule will feature presentations from experts in the field of Elder Justice from Tennessee; highlighting the progress made and the path forward for the Elder Justice Initiative in our state.
Thursday, May 5, conference schedule will feature nationally recognized speakers highlighting the federal response to elder abuse and exploitation and best-practices from model programs across the nation, and conclude with a
Tennessee District Attorney Generals Conference Work Session: Building Partnerships Between Law Enforcement, Financial Institutions and First Responders.
